Question about GAF Phantoms landing by SA

Small thing, but the cockpit windows aren't glass, they're plexiglass. Tom BTW - someone mentioned earlier about "jettisoning" the hatches. The cockpit doors aren't "jettisoned". Det cord runs along the edges of the glass and merely shatters it.
