The armed forces scored high marks for joint warfare during the war to
topple Saddam Hussein, but still lacks the technologies and methods to

Canadian Forces cast about for used Hercules airframes by

National Pest article at http://tinyurl.com/onwo.
How realistic is this plan, anyway? Are there any C-130 airframes out
there to be had? Or, like John Cleese in the Cheese Shop sketch, is this
an act of the purest optimism on the part of the procurement folks to
pose the question in the first...

Mk 84 iron bomb version with depleted uranium? by

Is there a version of the Mk 84 'iron bomb' that contained depleted uranium
(DU) to give the Mk 84 a better performance as bunker buster? I'm asking as

the Israeli attack on the Iraqi Osirak/Tammuz 17 nuclear...

New novel and it's a good one by
Lone Eagle
Just read a very good novel by Homer Hickam (October Sky). Titled The
Keeper's Son.. Lots of adventure and romance. A great book to curl
up in your chair with a cup of hot chocolate and just enjoy. Stephen
Coonts says it's great, too. Set on the Outer Banks during WWII.
