Prowler Aviation Jaguar paint scheme by rpellicciotti[_2_]
Back in the early 90's a company called Prowler Aviation showed and airplane called the Jaguar. It was a souped up version of George Morse's Auto Aviation Prowler. The airplane sported a red/white/blue paint job that was a little different in that the "sunburst" pattern was reversed or fanned out...

Anyone doing a recovering project? by Lou
I'm looking for a piece of used fabric. As strange as this may sound, I want to study it. If anyone has a piece from 14"x14" to 16x16 (or there abouts) could you contact me? I'm curious about how this stuff works. Lou

Engine vibration with advanced ignition. by abripl[_2_]
Been flying my canard for a few years now - it has a Franklin 6-350 engine and LSE dual ignition. I often noticed a slightly extra engine vibs in the 2500-2700RPM range (maybe its my imagination) and I used to fly it 2400rpm or less. All this time I had the ignition advanced probably an extra 5...

Looking for information on Wright Flyer projects in 2003. by cliff wright
Good day all! There were several projects that I know of to fly a reproduction of the Wright's 1903 "Flyer" back in the centenary year. However all those that I know of failed to leave the ground. As an historian of Aviation and Technology generally, I would be very intersted if someone...

Where are all these woman? by Lou
Every time I read the completion bits in Sport Aviation and Kitplanes, everyone keeps thanking their wives for support, patience and help. Mine keeps asking why I'm wasting my time and looks for other things for me to do. My wife complains about a plane sitting on my half of the garage instead of...

Electric Inline Fuel Pump Recommendations by BobR
Anybody have a recommendation for a high pressure electric fuel pump for fuel injected IOF-360 engine. It needs to be an inline pump with output pressure of 25psi and hopefully doesn't cost an arm and part of a leg. It will be installed external from fuel tank and use AN6 fittings. Thanks

Fuel System Musings, comments encouraged by flybynightkarmarepair
My blog has become a way for me to think out loud about my project. Putting things down in a narrative helps me crystallize my thoughts, and give me something to refer back to when the time comes to move from thinking to doing. Anyway, I've been THINKING about my fuel system, and have put down...

The Homebuilt Engine, Part 1 by [email protected]
If you've read the latest 'Sport Aviation' you were no doubt impressed by the 'New Engines for Experimental Aircraft' (page 35). The infomercial shows a few engines with prices starting at about ten grand, topping out at more than $50k, chump change for all those folks dedicated to revitalizing...
