Missing Glider? by BTiz
A Cobra trailer has been parked outside the fence, on a public street, at the local airport for the last two weeks. Not normal to see glider trailers at this "in the big city" airport. Is someone missing a trailer? Unknown if there is a glider inside, trailer is marked "Ventus 2" with "00" contest...

required LD versus required MC to make it home ?? by akiley
Hi All, I'm aware of and use the math formula to get my rental Cirrus back to home base, but I like to back it up with SeeYou mobile. I know it's recommended to use required LD to target making sure you have entered a correct polar and safety altitude. But this doesn't account for winds does it?...

Potential Club Class (US Sports Class) World Team SelectionPolicy Changes by JS
We see a few pilots in this discussion who have admirably bought a Club Class glider specifically to compete in Club Class. Some have no other glider. What an awful thing to scold them. Sean, great flight at the Dust Devil Dash in weak conditions, by the way. I had a great time working at the...

UK two-seater fleet by James Thomson
The threads on the Blanik AD and Club Training Gliders made me wonder about the make-up of the UK fleet. A quick search of the UK civil register produced the following numbers: ASK13 101 aircraft ASK21 73 Duo Discus 45 G103 29 Puchacz 27 DG500 22 K7 17

stara (?) dobra (?) tradycja by Slawek Piela

Progress by Gaetan Trudel
Hi I have a 20 year old electronic vario from LX in my glider. It does what it should be doing very well in my opinion. But I never fly with any other vario. I see many new vario, LX,Tasmann, Westerboer... and so on. Is there technical progress that make my 20 year old vario obsolete and justify...
