Replacing the stripes on a Cobra trailer by Eric Greenwell
My 12 year old blue stripes turned brown several years ago, so I'm now trying to install the new ones. It's not going well. The factory instructions call for hot soapy water on the trailer and stripe, then the end is pulled by one person while another feeds/pushes it into the aluminum...

Cambridge FR, Sector OZ, Badges by [email protected]
I understand the characteristics of the Sector OZ and the Cylinder OZ, and for my badge flights, I would prefer to use the Sector OZ. An RAS thread back in 2000 (before I started flying) seems to indicate that Cambridge FRs are "hard wired" to the Cylinder OZ. I have a 302A CFR. Does that mean I'm...

Filser ATR-500 by Roger Fowler
I am thinking of buying a Filser ATR-500 comm radio for our club. Does anyone have any experience with it, especially reliability and repair-wise? I like the idea that it just plugs in where the previous ATR-57 was. But I am concerned because the ATR-57 has to go back to the factory for repair...

Best paint or treatment for glare reduction? by Frank[_1_]
Hi, I have a couple of 'hot spots' in the anti-reflective coating forward of the instrument panel on my Ventus. In particular, the outline of the forward vent shows up quite nicely in my forward view as a reflection on the canopy. Almost like a gunsight - useful for locking up on that glider...
