Hi everyone. The Dandenong RSL has acquired an Iroquois from the USA which has now arrived in Australia and which will soon be mounted on a display pole. It is 73-21763, construction number 13451. Can anyone help out with any history of this aircraft or even photographs of it when in service?

Johnson Rocket Projects by Orval Fairbairn
A friend has decided to sell his two Johnson Rocket 185 project aircraft. One has been stripped down and the fuselage primed with epoxy and painted. That plane needs a rebuilding of the cockpit area, as the previous owner butchered that area in an attempt to make a homebuilt. The other plane is...

ki-61 two tails? by old hoodoo
I have read a reference that kermit weeks' ki-61 has two tail units. I understand that there is an allegation that a relatively intact Ki-61 in PNG had its tail unit scavenged (illegally) and that the extra tail unit that is with the Week's 61 belongs to that aircraft. Considering the rarity of...

Kingfisher Float Value question by certayn lee
I have a wingtip float for a WW2 vought OS2U Kingfisher floatplane. I'd like to hear everyone's off the cuff opinion of what it should sell for. I want to sell it for something at least in the ball park of its value and not essentially give it away. Its major flaw is that a large section of the...
