Wet vs Dry Vacuum Pump by
Fastglasair
I am curious of opinions out there. I currently have a wet Vacuum pump on my
Glasair I-RG. I am considering adding an M-20 vacuum pump oil seperator just
for the vacuum pump since I also have a Christen inverted oil system seperator
which takes care of the Crankcase breather. I am also considering...

HomeBuilt English Wheel by

To All,
Built this in my shop yesterday.
http://www.roddingroundtable.com/tech/articles/12ewheel.html
Total parts cost was right about $47.00 and total time to build was eight
hours. I deviated a little from the plans because I didn't have some of the

Would you install lights? by
Lou
I'm getting close to covering my wings. I don't currently fly at night
and could even say that I have no intention on flying at night.
However I had no intention on getting married either. Would anyone
install lights anyway or just limit yourself to flying in the
daylight.

flight Instruments on the Cheap by
Dick[_1_]
Anyone know about a seminar at SNF
discussing flight instruments made cheaply??
A while ago, I remember someone describing an attitude gage consisting of a
tube loop (the loop was orientated fore and aft) filled with a liquid.
Wonder if some arrangement utilizing a manometer (sp? "u" shaped open...

Viking Cygnet by
Dale Martin
I just purchased a set of Cygnet plans. Does anyone know of anyone
building
a Cygnet in the southwestern US? I'd sure like to see one before I get
started.
Also, does anyone know how to get ahold of the designer Bert Sisler? I
understand that he was planning to put a Jabiru engine in the...

Okay, I posted a photo of the Lark by
Badwater Bill
Okay, you guys told me to post binaries to the alt.binary file. I did
that. It's under Badwater Bill and it's titled Lark GLider. I can't
find the shot I took when I was above the crap you see in the
background. But here's the story:
I got a clearance to go up into PC. That's what we called...

Ivo Prop Blades - question by
Dave S
This may be a silly question, but at the moment I am having a difficult
time visualizing this in my head...
Are the IVO prop blades able to be "reversed" with regards to direction
of rotation (counter-clockwise to clockwise) and still provide thrust
properly..?

Next Time I Do Fabric Work on an Airplane by
Larry Smith
I'll use Airtech, not Stits, now known as Polyfiber. The latter is a great
process, don't get me wrong. It's just that Airtech is better, simpler,
easier and produces superior results. *And* it lasts and lasts. Take a
look at a 10- or 15-year-old Airtech cover and you'll see why.
As for...
