RV-6 Snap Rolls by
Ted Timmons
Van wrote an article in which he states "RV's are not well
suited for because high G forces are needed to produce a
brisk snap roll."
When I do snap rolls in my Aerobat (perhaps that's an oxymoron) I do an
accelerated stall at 75kts which is well below my Va of 105 kts so there
is no possibility...

Fallen Angel Maneuver ? by
Arnie
A friend asked me what was this "Fallen angel" maneuver, but I've never hear
of it before.
If someone knows what it is, I'd appreciate a description.

Compression Tests by
Doug
Does anyone do an "automotive" type compression test on their aircraft
engine? I think this kind of "dynamic" test might show problems (such
as valves not opening all the way), that a leakdown test would not
(and vice-versa). Anyway my annual is coming up and I want to do it. I
imagine something...

Hi community,
I plan to use for my Laser project (I'm currently working on ;o) a

Does anyone got experience with the system in an aerobatic airplane and
what is resulting judgement.
Any comments or recommendations ... ?
Thanx,

Silent Bob.
Hi all.

as the training flight i did in the citabria? I know probably not *quite* as
powerful and efficient, but will i do rolls and loops and leave passengers
smiling?

Aerobatics in Northern NJ by
Andrew Gideon
Going through the archive of this group, I see several posts about
aerobatics at Sussex. One mentions a place called Airbatix, while others
mention instructors by name.
But these posts weren't recent.
Is there any aerobatic training going on in Northern NJ now? I know about
Van Sant, but I'm...

Pitts Certification by
moby
I have a recently bought Pitts S1-C and I am trying to get its new
airworthiness certificate since the one it had became void at the change of
ownership. The FAA, however, wants a letter stating that the S1-C is an
aerobatic airplane which seems like complete bull to me. I'm wondering where
I could...

Marlboro Aerobatic Team. by
Paolo
Hello everybody!
I am looking for promotional material (mainly decals and stickers)
issued by the Marlboro Aerobatic Team (Pitts Special) during the 80s,
for my private collection.
Does anyone have anything available or know where I could find it?
Thank you for your assistance.
