Sheepskin seat covers save life. by
Kevin
On March 2 1991 a Piper Aztec , N6546Y slammed into the top of Justice
mountain located in North Georgia. Both wings were sheared off by 100
foot high pine trees which took much of the impact force. The fuselage
remained mostly intact from the panel aft. The pilot was trapped in the
cockpit with...

Weatherstripping by
Hankal
My 1973 172 is getting a liitle drafty.
I may replace the weatherstripping around my doors and my two windows. Does not
look like a big job, just time consuming.
Where can I buy the gasket material and the adhesive.
Of course I would not think of replacing it with Non approved parts.
Thanks
Hank...

Interior Customization by
Jay Honeck
IMHO, it's the little things that really set off an airplane's interior.
MU-2 Mike has done things like gold-plating his chrome parts, and I've seen
plenty of wood-grained panels in custom planes that look terrific.
Having recently had our interior completely redone in leather, we were...

Another Garmin 430 question by

I've been told that it is possible to load successive approaches in the
flight plan page but have been un able to either figure out how to do it or
find any info in the manual about it. For instance if I wanted to create a
flight plan to take off at one airport, fly to a second airport then...

Preheater by
Tony Roberts
Hi
I'm looking for a preheater for my 172.
I don't have a power source near my tiedown.
I don't own a generator.
Because of all of the above I'm looking for a propane powered preheater
but I can't find one.
Any recommendations? Any reason why I shouldn't buy a propane one.
Thanks
