Has anyone written some sort of program/hack to get position data out of MS flight simulator that could be used to control a cockpit motion device? It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to build a two axis positioner if you could get the pitch and roll data out of the sim program. tom

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea why Microsoft has stopped selling and/or making the sidewinder force feedback 2 joystick?

My Microsoft Sidewinder works perfectly in Win 98 ; but when installed in Win XP (for FS 2000), it is there one minute and gone the next. I have heard this may be a program/hardware conflict - any ideas ? Many thanks. Colin Perkins
