If you think the recent requirement by TSA to have CFI's register, and
to develop a database at your private expense, with threat of a
$10,000 fine if you don't comply, better keep your eyes open for the
even more sinister legislation for the national identity card with
HR10 and S2774.

landing at NYC heliports by
[email protected]
What are the best heliports and costs to land/park at a New York City
Heliport? It looks like the West 34th street one has about 15 pads.
There's one over at East 30th, too, as well as one down on Wall
Street(Port Authority operated), but they don't appear to have as many
pads.
Looking for...

Another 1.3 on the books.. by

The OTHER Kevin said
I initially I thought I was ok, but as the day went on, my neck began
to stiffen up and started to ache.
Better get used to a stiff neck. The longer you fly helicopters, the worse it
is for your back and neck. Ergonomics is a foreign word for most helicopter
seat...

Helter Skelter by

The most important article you have ever read
"THE BEATLES CAUSED THE DISINTEGRATION OF MANKIND”
The Rock revolution happened in the Sixties (6, number of the Beast). It
came from Liverpool, which was the port base to the Titanic, destroyed by
God because of the arrogant insult of Captain Smith...

Ohhhhhh .... Bart by
SHIVER ME TIMBERS
Well seeing your posts today kinda jogged my brain about the
posting you made the other day looking for someone to help
fly your 206 down to Florida.
I'm kinda curious, and I'm sure others are as well... As to what sort
of response you have received in the past when you made this...

Arrrgghhh!! by
Nishan
During training (and afterward) I would spend considerable time reflecting
on why some days I flew well while others were just a mess. Ultimately, I
discovered that my bad days were, to a great degree, linked to coffee
drinking before the flight. Coffee and no breakfast made the worst...

OH-58D by
Jim Burt
The thread called "Is MDHI going to make it?" drifted into a comparison of
the MD 500 and OH-58D aircraft. What follows is a discussion of the latter:
All the US Army OH-58Ds were rebuilt (OK, very, very extensively rebuilt and
modified) OH-58As. The rebuild process took the aircraft down to...

Question to pilots who have landed on airports using ILS by
Ingo Schulz
Hi!
In IFR flights rotorcraft are sequenced together with airplanes on the
approach path, i.e. they use the same procedures as airplanes. Because
they are much slower than aircraft, they hinder the traffic flow. To
alleviate airport congestion they could intercept the glide path nearer
to the...

I have heard of the need for a she-pee, especially in the context of a
