Trivia ?: 1st NFO CAG by
Mike Weeks
Perhaps some input from the readers to this question can at least narrow down
the possibilities:
Anyone know who they believe was the 1st (or one of the 1st) NFO CAGs?
This has come up an off-net discussion, and it would be nice to mark the
appropriate individual in the CAG DB.
Thanks.

Uniform Question by
Bill Kambic
When did baseball caps become part of the Naval Uniform, both
officially and unofficially?
I have seen photos circa 1940 of Army Air Corps line mechanics wearing
something similar. There are newsreels from 1942 showing ADM Halsey
in a ballcap with a rather large bill. I've seen photos and...

Stop Loss (Not specifically a NAVAIR issue but will seriously affect it) by
Bill Kambic
Got this from MOA today:
Issue 3: Stop-Loss: The New Draft
The more we think about the Defense Department's plan to meet wartime
requirements for the next few years, the more concerned we get.
The plan is to increase Army manning by 30,000 for the next few years.
But that won't be...

Iranian F-14 Units in Combat by
TV
Sorry for posting on topic, but I can't help talk about the beloved F-14!
Recently, I finished reading Tom Cooper and Farzad Bishop's book on the 1980
Iran/Iraq war, and the role of Iranian f-14 units in the conflict. Overall,
the book states that the US and other sources greatly underestimated...

Sorry, but something must be wrong with my Google server, it cannot
link me to the previous messages, so I had to answer this way.
