Novice question by
Burt Tims
Many years ago a remember reading about an aerobatic maneuver in which the
aircraft, flying basically straight and level, was thrown into an attitude
which caused it to "tumble", in effect going tail over nose, then recovering
to straight and level. My best memory of the name of the maneuver was...

STOL and aerobatic? by
Bushy
G'day,
I'm looking at building or purchasing, to operate from a small 1000 feet to
50 feet farm strip in a valley at a couple of thousand feet, inland from
Brisbane. ( = hot summer!)
Anyone have any ideas on something that would be suitable? I am looking at a
Storch replica www.storch.com.au as a...

Yee-ha! by
Bushy
Did it today! After 12 years of watching the sky and dreaming, I finally had
my first fly since buying the farm. (Wonder if anyone can guess why I
stopped flying?)
2 hours 20 minutes of shear joy in two lessons, flew over my farm for the
first time and flew a taildragger to boot! I know some of...

the thrill of flying interview is here! by
BW
A liberal response to what I've read...
There's no denying what you experienced. If you were thrilled by
something, then that's what happened - whether it was planned or came
from a surprise.
Whether it was appropriate OR how you handled it is a question for
debate. I've really learned something...

Flying with music? by
caroline
Hey everyone,
Ok, now I'm sure you've heard about the free Ipods, and you might
think its a joke, and a few months ago, I would have been on your side
agreeing with you. That is, until I watched several of my friends get
their ipods in the mail, and boy did I feel stupid..so here I am. All
you...

Opinions? by
Chris
Was just looking over some old brochures, and got to thinking about the
Starduster line of biplanes. Anyone have experiences with them? In
particular the Acroduster or Super Starduster models.
Also, as a fan of aviation history, as well as the newer sport designs, I'm
curious which of the two is...
