Capital Gain/Loss when Selling Gliders? by Six-Seven Romeo
I searched in RAS and didn't find anything about taxes. I live in a state where they have sales tax on aircraft and when buying a glider for tens of thousands of dollars this can be a major impact. Maybe I need to move to Delaware and incorporate! Sales tax aside, what about capital gain or loss...

Which glide computers fully support FAI badge and record tasks? by [email protected]
When flying for a badge or record, one will be flying a closed course that involves a 1km long start/finish line. To complete the task, one must cross the finish line no lower than 1,000m below the start altitude. As the pilot crosses the start line, the computer should calculate a finish...

Is SKEW-T still important to soaring pilots ? by [email protected]
Having used XC skies and now Topmeteo, I wonder what's the need to get the forecasted SKEW -T diagram to points along your task. Will you as, a pilot, get any better prediction of soaring conditions if you use both ? Dan

Akaflieg Karlsruhe AK-X by Jonathan St. Cloud
Has anyone seen the Akaflieg Karlsruhe AK-X photos. They have flown a scale model and it looks very interesting. Wonder how it will compare to "traditional designs"? If it proformed as well or better than moe traditional design I would purchase one.

Gross gliders by Nyal Williams[_2_]
A US glider designer named Gross produced some 4-place gliders in the 1935, and one of them was owned by the Purdue University gliding club. Does anyone have pictures of such a glider? The designer has been tracked to Akron, I believe and their historical society has some information about him.
