iGlide and iPad mini by Jonathan St. Cloud
Anyone flying with iGlide and an iPd mini? What are your thoughts, does the iPad mini work well in the cockpit? Are you happy with this combination, is the mini bright enough to see in the cockpit, does the battery last long enough, what mount do you use? Any comments would be helpful. Thanks

SH circuit breakers? by [email protected]
My D-2 has recently decided it would be interesting & exciting to blow the gear horn, even though the spoilers are locked (with gear up). If this were to happen while airborne, my only recourse would be to pull the U/C circuit breaker. SH has recently started using new little circuit breakers that...

DG1000T Solo 2350C Engine A.D. by NG
Yet another A.D. prohibiting the use of the DG1000T engine in the United States kicked in on May 29th 2015. This is the 3rd failure resulting in a third A.D. prohibiting the use of the engine, due to repeated propeller departure (as in breaking off). The current A.D. mandates immediate propeller...

Auto-towing? Cost...about $1.50 per tow? Why is this launchingtechnique not more popular? by Sean Fidler
Had a conversation with a pal on this recently. It seems academic. Why cost is considered, it has to be even more affordable than winching. Why is this not a mainstream method of getting gliders airborne? Interested in learning what you know, your thoughts and opinions. Sean 7T
