Air sickness by
Amine
Does motion sickness fade away with experience? How many of you
seasoned pilots had/still have serious issues with recurrent nausea?
(Assuming of course an otherwise good health.)

My flight to Greenville MS yesterday. ILS approach 18 left with 2100
foot ceilings and a visual back to Madison..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45Hdcs669Dg
Interesting approach to say the least. Note the ground speed on
final. 200 feet AGL winds were right off the nose at 35 knots which

Ram air by
Tina
The Mooney 201 has a ram air port, a half a foot under the prop
spinner. The POH tells us it can be opened at altitude for a very
modest increase in MP and we find maybe a half inch increase in
pressure. The idea of the thing is, if the port is looking right at
the air being thrust toward it by the...

Straight line winds through Saginaw yesterday pretty much trashed the
southeast quadrant of the city, including the airport... The catwalk
gratings on top of the above ground fuel tanks at the airport were
lifted out of their frames and scattered about... These are not flat
plate gratings, but...

I've finally Had It! by
Jay Honeck[_2_]
I've had it. Despite my attempts to ignore the Berties and the
Maxwells of this NG, I give up.
I'm giving R.A.P a pause for a while. I'll come back when it cleans
up its act, maybe.

Clouds and Class B by
Mxsmanic
You've been cleared into Class B VFR, and you've been assigned a heading.
After a while you see that your heading will take you through some clouds, and
you asked to be cleared on a different heading, 40 degrees to the right. ATC
says unable and gives a plausible reason why. What do you do?
