Questions about Privatizing ATC by Jay Honeck
Okay, so the Bush Administration says it wants to privatize ATC services, apparently saving the taxpayers millions (billions?) of dollars. The controllers say "No way!", claiming that putting ATC into the hands of private businesses will jeopardize air safety, etc. G.A. pilots say "No way!"...

I flew in there once a couple years ago (before 9/11), and recall it used to be quite easy. Has anything changed? I recall hearing something about new fees being charged to GA. I can't find any information from the Port Authority or the FBOs regarding what those fees are, and how they are...

Lightspeed with Foggles question by Rod Madsen
I just bought the Hood Lamb and had to send them back. They simply would not clamp to my David Clark H10-13.4 which have a narrower than usual band. To their credit, they acknowledge this problem with DC's and suggest friction tape to increase the girth of the band. Didn't work...to rinky-dink...

Lightspeed with Foggles question by Jim
Hi Sydney, I've got Lightspeeds and although the noise was never a problem, the way they press the bows of the foggles into my brain starts to bother me after awhile. I've often thought about buying a cheap pair of wire frame sunglasses and cutting the bows off them, then also cutting most of the...

Flight breakfasts. by Greg Burkhart
I attended another local Fly-In breakfast this morning in Mankato, MN (MKT). This is my third Fly-In breakfast that I have flown in to. Flying east this morning into the sun and haze isn't something I'd want to do too often! When I lived in southern Texas, I didn't notice many Fly-Ins available...
