Phenolic sheet L grade - oddball thickness by
Carl Ellis
I am looking for a small amount (6"x6") of .093" (3/32") thickness L grade
phenolic sheet. I can find 1/16" easily through ASS, McMaster Carr,
Aviall, etc. but not the desired thickness. Does anyone know of a source
for this?
Thanks,
- Carl -

Canadian ATC aircraft designation by
abripl
When talking radio trafic in Canada how do you designate your
"experimental" aircraft. In US you would say "xxx traffic, experimental
N416....etc..." In Canada you do not have the experimental category but
"amateur built". So how do you anounce yourself in a...

Lyc IO 360 A1A advice requested by
Len
For those of you intimately familiar with this engine (in this case in a
'68 Mooney), what are the "gotchas"? I am looking at an aircraft where
the engine is about 2940 hrs since factory zero time remanufacture and
990 hrs SMOH done in 1989. Oil consumption normal at about 5hrs/qt and
compressions...

Instrument Hole Punch by
[email protected]
Has anyone used one of those combination punches (driven by a hand
wrench) that will make a 3.5 or 2.25 inch instrument hole in sheet
metal? How thick an aluminum panel will it go through? Were you happy
with the result? I'm thinking of fabricating a replacement instrument
panel and want it to...

Electrical system considerations by
ELIPPSE
First, I have seen several installations where the ammeter was
connected between the alternator/generator and the main bus. When
connected this way, only the total of charge plus load will be shown,
and never discharge. Connecting the ammeter between the battery and the
bus will show any charge...

Is there a quick way to calculate what the hinge moment (or turning
moment for the flap shaft for a specified condition) is for a flap on a

Citabria 7ECA Exhaust Wanted by
Capt. Dave
Hi
Citabria with a Lycoming 0-235, Homebuilt. I need an exhaust system similar
to an RV4's including heat muffs. I don't know if an 0-320 has the same
exhaust as an 0-235. Apparently the crossover option is a must for
horsepower, and the intake tubes and carb location are different than...

Nationwide aircraft rentals by

Does anyone know of a flying club or other way to rent aircraft while
on vacation? I would find it hard to believe that there isn't a
nationwide flying club that does this.
