Accident site found: Landing gear from Bulldog? by
SEG
Hi.
I'm new to this list and I am not a pilot.
On a recent hike in Northern California, our group stumbled upon an
aviation accident site. The wreckage included part of a wing and
part of a landing gear. No tail number was evident. We notified
the forest rangers, but I am not yet convinced that...

aero-domains for aerobatic fans by
secura
It is not well known, that also aerobatic fans can get
aero-domains. If they have an own website or send a document, they can
get a domain name at .aero and at the official subdomain
aerobatic.aero, which has been established by SITA.
In the future, everybody, who is interested, in flying,...

Skybolt Tail Incidence Question by
Scott Rodriguez
My set of Skybolt plans call out a starting horizontal stabilizer incidence
angle of 0.5 degrees to 1.0 degrees, although IIRC, some years ago folks
indicated the actual incidence needed is greater, around 1.5 degrees to 2.0
degrees.
Are there any Skybolt drivers out there that know what their...

Honiley Aerobatics Competition by
Sasquatch
Hi,
Sorry to intrude but I was wondering if anyone has information about
the Honiley Aerobatics Competition between the wars? I have a watch
(rather battered) with the inscription "Presented to Alfred John
Phillips, Winner of the Honiley Aerobatics Competition 3 years running
1934 1935 1936)" ...

Pitss S-1S related questions by
Sascha Schott
We are a group of three German aerobatic pilots seeking a Pitts S-1S,
preferably N-registered, with a 200 hp Lycoming.
Regarding the Pitts, we are beginners. As every plane has its typical
"teething troubles", we wish to get in contact with S-1S
owners/sellers/pilots who are willing to offer their...

Beating Nausea by
S Culver
Does anyone have recommendations on how to permanently beat nausea while
flying aerobatics? I know of all the commonly reported ways to *temporarily*
beat it: ginger snaps, the electronic wristband, etc.
I've been taking lessons in a 152 Aerobat for about 6 months now, and almost
every time we...

"W" is JFK's son and Bush revenge killed Kennedy in 1963 by
Ross C. Bubba Nicholson
JFK gave Barbara Pierce a lesson in life in the summer of 1944 (making
her a "Cape Cod heiress"), and to her eventual husband, JFK gave a
personal motive for revenge. Perhaps if George and Barb had announced
their earlier engagement or even if George had given Barb a diamond
instead of a cheap...

What video cameras are people using? by
[email protected]
For some odd reason I couldn't reply to the original post on this topic
so I apologize for the new thread.
I've wrestled with doing this for a bit and have a pretty easy
solution. I use two consumer grade video cameras mounted with Ram
Mount Systems (http://www.ram-mount.com) yoke clamp. One is...
