Forecast Model Output/Sounding Archive? by Papa3[_2_]
Quick search on R.A.S. didn't turn up a prior thread, so... Is there a source where I can get NAM, GFS, RAP/RUC archived data/soundings? I want to go back and look at the model sounding for a flight from a few years back. Thanks to all you weather geeks. Erik Mann (P3)

Hi all, I am refurbishing a Komet trailer. The wing fittings have plastic rods to hold the spar end - I have always assumed this is "delrin" but of course when I look into what is available there are a zillion plastic types! What is the best choice? Or does it not really matter as long as it's...

I bought this variometer for Christmas to install it in my current glider, but since then I took advantage of an opportunity to upgrade my glider and I will not be installing this unit. The price is significantly below current pricing at $3100. Andrzej

My Volkslogger thinks it is 1995. I was planning to send my volkslogger back to Germany for repair with Air Avionics but the Shipping back is about 50 Euros. They suggest sending multiple units at once to share the shipping costs. Does anyone else want to ship a unit with me from US and split...

New Wind Forecast Site by John Carlyle
Check out www.windyty.com It will be interesting to see if its forecasts are accurate enough for ridge soaring. One nice feature is that you can change the altitude for the forecast (lower right side) to get predictions for ridge height in your area. -John, Q3

Std. Libelle Rigging Kit by Roger Fowler[_3_]
I have a homemade set of Std. Libelle rigging aids. I believe one person can assemble using them. I am willing to let them go to a good home for the cost of shipping. (Might be expensive - some of the parts are big.) Otherwise they go to the dump. Reply to Thanks, Roger

Grob 103 seals by [email protected]
Our club has a Grob that needs the Mylar replaced. Does or should the Grob 103 have internal Teflon tape seals in addition to the standard Mylar and safety tape? Any other tips for this process? Or anything else we should consider doing while we are in there? Thanks!
