Bose X vs. LightSPEED Zulu Review by Bill Granewich
I have been using Bose X for 2 years now... thought that nothing could ever touch it... well, I now have a Zulu from Lightspeed and it is superior in all respects... my cell phone connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, and my MP3 player as well! Outstanding kudos to the folks at Lightspeed!!!

Bose Corp. - What a company! by Bill J
How's this for customer support. I ordered the new upgrade for the Series X headset (better battery life) back in October (about $125). It was delayed until after January 04 because of a supplier problem. Mysteriously around Christmas I got a box from Bose, but it was a new QC-1 non-aviation NR...

Rare aircraft by Bob
I came across a photoguide to aircraft in the UK, it's not well advertised so you may not have seen it. http://www.ukskies.co.uk. It's got hundreds of aircraft types so it's worth a look. Does anyone know of any other good sites?

Decalin instead of TCP? by Bob Fry
With the demise of 80/87 avgas, I bought a gallon of TCP and will start adding that to the 100LL that I must now buy. However, scouting around the internet I found something that claims to be similar in function but safer: decalin. Here's a blurb from Aircraft Spruce. My questions are, has...

followup pirep on Knots 2U wing root fairing by Bob Noel
Previously I had posted that I didn't clearly notice any effect from the installation of a Knots 2U Wing Root Fairing kit on my cherokee 140. As part of my BFR I did some slow flight and stalls today. One difference with the wing root fairings is that it was waaaay easier to fly with the stall...

Best modern aircraft encyclopedia? by Brent
I've got a book titiled Modern Commercial Aircraft (copyright 1987, just over 200 pages) that I really like, but it lacks many aircraft types. Maybe it's just too old. I'm looking for something like this but with as many commercial and GA plane models as possible. Not looking for military in...

Forgive the intrusion -- I hope I'm not out of line with a "new product" announcement. I just wanted to let everyone know about it. After years of changing the oil in his Cessna 182, my buddy and business partner invented a VERY cool gadget for airplane owners. It's also great for a ton of other...
