I really like the earplug style headsets. I had a Quiet Technologies, but it got stolen, and now I have a Clarity Aloft. But it amazes me that they're as expensive as the normal clamp-style headsets. I buy $20 Skull Candy brand iPod earbuds, and they make as good an ear seal as the Clarity Aloft...

How long to get down question by David Lesher
A query for folks here. While discussing bad things that can happen between the chocks, I posited that it's a really bad place to be in a medical emergency, etc. -- based on how long it takes to get on the ground. That brings up the question of how long that time really is.... So:
