Fuel Valves, Wing Tips, And You by
RST Engineering
There has been much discussion about Home Depot fuel valves, homebrew
wingtips, and the like. There has been much discussion about what is and
what is not allowed by the regulations.
Finally, somebody at the highest echelons of the FAA in Washington is trying
to put some sense back in the...

Hart Aviation Catalog/Website by
Michael Ward
I have ordered products from Hart Aviation in the past. I was just
looking to update my (2001) catalog, and found that the website no
longer appears to sell aviation products. On their website,
www.hartaviation.com, I found aircraft sales listed, but no pilot
products.
I was pleased with the...

transponder repair by
[email protected]
I have a Narco AT50A transponder that is not working right. Since I
don't fly IFR, I'm thinking I'll just get it repaired and not upgrade
to an expensive unit with a more modern design (such as Garmin GTX
327). It seems that if the repair is cheaper than buying a used
yellow-tagged newer model, I'm...

I have have been an off and on subscriber to the aviation consumer

That DC electrical outlet on airplanes... by
Gnarlodious
I have a computer adapter for airplanes, it's supposed to plug into a DC
outlet in the first-class seats. Does anyone know what kind of connector
this is? I mean like, what's it called?

Airmap 2000c: Towers, Making a copy of the SD, Taxi-ways by

I've got several questions about the 2000c. My attempt to email Lowrance

I've been unable to see towers displayed on the map pages as shown in
the manual. I am unable to see taxiways. I've not found a description of
this...
