"Whale" still "cutting-edge" by
Chuck
This is not a plug for ABC's "Threat Matrix" as I've not seen the pilot

in some promo clips of the program which will air Thursdays this fall.
The promos promise "cutting-edge technology" with...

Wearing a G-1 flight jacket off base? by

What are the current regulations in regard to this? A friend of mine

Marlin P5M crash 1954. by
JDupre5762
My father in law has told me an interesting story about a crash of a Martin P5M
Marlin flying boat patrol bomber. The crash occured in 1954 near Horta, Azores
Islands. My father in law was on board the seaplane tender Currituck AV 7.
Apparently Pan Am flying boats used to take off from the harbor...

VX-4 phantom loads by
Rob van Riel
VX-4 has created some of the most spectacular paintjobs seen on F-4
Phantoms, and as such are prime subjects for scale models. I could of
course build such planes with nothing, or only fuel tanks under the wings,
I prefer to have a little more variation in loadouts. Given that VX-4 was
a test...

F-14 with the Playboy bunny logo? by
D
A few months ago Playboy magazine had a picture of an all-black F-14 with
the bunny logo.
I thought this logo had been banned from Navy aircraft after the Tailhook
scandal. Does anybody know any details?
