Plumbing for a CAI 302 + Schuemann B-Box by Mark Grubb
Both 302 and Schuemann Box require Pitot & Static pressure. Connecting both to the same sources yields anomalous but nearly identical trends on both varios (overcompensation + lag). Would appear that I need separate Static sources for each system. Comments?

Vario recommendations, please. by Mike Lindsay
My gliding partner and I have a LX1000 in our DG202. This instrument needs some attention, and we are wondering if its time to replace it rather than spending money on something outdated. We have a separate GPS/logger/nav display system (Garmin 89, EW B, Compaq 1550), so we aren't looking for all...

Soaring through White Sands restricted airspaces by tuno
I don’t have the latest Albuquerque sectional in front of me, but according to my SeeYou maps, the R-5107D restricted airspace over White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico goes from the ground to 22,000ft, and R-5107B (adjacent to the west) goes from the ground to the moon, both continuous...

Simple audio vario + averager? by Chris Reed
I'm about to replace my Peschges VP3 glide computer (which, if anyone wants to make an offer, has the two-seater dials as well and (sort of) works). All I want is an audio vario + an averager display. I don't want Speed to Fly or Final Glide calculation. Ideally, all in a 57mm cutout (then I...
