Aviation Week scan by
Paolo Ulivi
Hi all
I am looking for a publication quality (300 dpi at least) scan of an
image published in Aviation Week on 9 August 1976. The image is
copyright NASA, so it is copyright-free.
Does anybody in the group have that issue and can scan it for me?

AVIATIONTOOLBOX: recent FAA sectional scans by
Kyler Laird
When I got my first DVD of sectional images from the FAA I was
thrilled by the quality of the scans. I did, however, notice
that the sectionals had wide-ranges of colors to denote similar
elevations. This was especially noticeable out west where the
sectionals meet.
Lately I've noticed that some...

I've just had my 6th failure of the roll servo, since 2002. This time
I got a video of it, showing that the power-up tests pass even with a

Evidently Honeywell have not fixed this - even...

Jay Honeck
I have emailed it to you as an attachment.
(I recently obtained it from JPI, after misplacing the original disks. They
seem to answer email about once a week...)

Question posed....re. air traffic by

A question posed today at work;
In any one day, at any one time in the world, what would an estimation of
the total amount of airborne traffic in the world including the obvious
civil, light aircraft, cargo etc. but excluding military and emergency
I guess that's a pretty difficult one to...

Connection Lightspeed Headset directly to Cassette. by
[email protected]
I have what might be a slightly odd question. I want to be able to
connect a LightSpeed headset to a cassette recorder. The recorder has 2
sockets 1 for headphone, and 1 for microphone. I tried radio shack and
they had no idea how to connect the slightly small of the two
lightspeed plugs. Is this...

Stupid Question About Newsgroups by
RST Engineering
There are a fair number of rec.aviation.* newsgroups (like announce,
answers, questions, etc.) that have never had a single post as long as I've
been around the 'net. In the first place, why don't they just go away? In
the second place, it would be nice to have a couple of specialized
newsgroups...

Where to find a salvaged flight deck by
Todd Trainor
Where can I find a fairly complete flight deck from a large twin or
small airliner? Before I make a proposal to buy something like this,
I need to research the cost. We're planning to use it as a display
and for educational purposes.
If it is shorter than 13' tall we could build a trailer around...

can't find the first...

RON in Canada by
Dale
In early March I'm taking a 206 from Anchorage to Arizona. I'm planning
a RON stop in Prince George or MacKenzie. Prince George is a fair sized
city and I'm sure will have motels. Does anyone have any info on
MacKenzie?
Sure wish AirNav worked for Canada! G
