Ventus 2Cxt panel help by
Andy[_12_]
Hallo,
I'm working on my panel redesign. It's a "long distance project" with me
on one continent and the glider on another...
Would someone with a "winter access" to his glider take some
measurements for me?
- what is the exterior dimension of Ilec engine controller? I know it is
57mm hole but...

PowerFLarm expected range by
[email protected]
So I've got my new PowerFlarm brick installed and I'd guess that it was losing the other PowerFlarm in the area when the distance between us was between 2 to 2.5 miles. Obviously this is good for collision avoidance, but I was kind of hoping for more range. The other pilot reported similar range....

Momentary GPS data dropouts with PowerFLARM to SN10A to Oudie2 setup by
kirk.stant
I made a couple of flights yesterday with a new setup that links a PowerFLARM brick (2.79/3.1/Flarmnet loaded) to an SN10B (2.37, PDA, FLARM, 19200 selected) passing Flarm, GPS, and vario data to an Oudie2.
All worked exactly as expected EXCEPT that randomly during flight, at irregular intervals,...

DIY compensation tube by
Waveguru
A machinist buddy of mine made me a TE tube for my 2-33 and it worked great, but I no longer have that ship. He is at sea so I can't reach him and I need to make another one for my "new" 2-33. It was just a tube about 4" long with a hole on the back side as you might expect and we mounted it behind...

Badge flight start/finish question by
joesimmers[_2_]
I am hoping for a shot or 2 next month to attempt a 1000k badge flight.
I realize that the turnpoint or turnpoints need to be
an FAI 90 degree sector.
What about start and finish, I plan to use the gliderport for my
start and finish, does this also require the 90 degree sector or
is a line...

Twin Astir Canopy Replacement by
YFCpilots
If anyone knows where I could find either a complete frame AND plexi
canopy for the rear cockpit of a Twin Astir (not Twin II) I'd
appreciate the help. Our Canadian Freedoms Wings program for
paraplegic pilots is at a standstill as we've broken our rear canopy.
Its a frustrating position to be in...

sport airplane from private glider by
Andy[_1_]
In a recent thread it was asserted that it was possible to get sport
pilot airplane privileges without taking a knowledge test and flight
test if the pilot held a private glider rating. For some reason I
cannot see that thread. I had doubts that this was true and followed
up with AOPA.
The text...
