Iroquois 73-21763 by
Darryl Gibbs
Hi everyone.
The Dandenong RSL has acquired an Iroquois from the USA which has now
arrived in Australia and which will soon be mounted on a display pole.
It is 73-21763, construction number 13451.
Can anyone help out with any history of this aircraft or even photographs of
it when in service?

CESSNA 120/140 PARTS CATALOG
This 1965 Cessna publication has about 150 8½" x 11 pages. Apparently every
rivet, bolt, wire and airframe part on a Cessna 120 or 140 is shown on one
page, and identified on the adjoining page by a factory part number or an
AN-number. If you have any thoughts of...

Cessna 182 as a tow plane? by
Jim Newton
I would like like comment on whether it is a good idea to use a Continental
powered C182 as a tow ship that would be mainly used to tow the Schweizer
2-33 at sea level airports. I content that the tow speed would not be
comfortable for a 2-33 and that overheating of the continental engine would
be...

Jim Dauven
I saw a special on PBS about the Aleutian Islands and they showed
quite a few scenes of W.W.II aircraft wrecks just lying around on
ground. The Narrator said that they US lost a lot of aircraft due
to bad weather.
My question is has anyone surveyed the Aleutian Islands for restorable
wrecks. (I...

Any info on WC Pye Course & Speed Calculator by
Jack McAdams
My grandson gave me a beautiful Course & Speed Calculator manufactured
by W.C. Pye & Co Ltd. The mahagony box is marked as REF. No. 6B/120.
It is a MK IIA model.
It is obviously analagous to a very early E6B. My guess it is WWII
era, maybe a bit earlier.
Does anyone happen to have an instruction...

Spar Dimensions for J-3 and/or Aeronca Champ by
Ron Wanttaja
We've got some Fly Baby builders who are considering building the Hevle
Classic tandem Fly Baby. We're trying to work out what would be a good
thickness for the spruce spar. My thought was that comparing it to that of
a production plane would be a good start.
So, can anyone tell me the...

Meigs by
Nolaminar
This could be in error, but was Meigs 100% "private"?
It is my understanding that it is/was a "private" airport and has never
taken Federal funding and thus the beloved Mayor and his crew were legal
(though not so smart or clever) in destrorying the airport?
Just asking.
