Viking Cygnet by
Dale Martin
I just purchased a set of Cygnet plans. Does anyone know of anyone
building
a Cygnet in the southwestern US? I'd sure like to see one before I get
started.
Also, does anyone know how to get ahold of the designer Bert Sisler? I
understand that he was planning to put a Jabiru engine in the...

twin boom pusher design/prototype for sale on ebay by
rich a.
Search on ebay for item number : 4533523478 Anyone know the name of
the "famous designer" refered to? The performance claims seem
unrealistic at best. I doubt even the short wing version will reach
237 mph.....unless in a full power straight down dive. Just my
opinion.

Roadable Aircraft ... What about this? by

I saw earlier posts about North Texan's Butterfly and was impressed
with the depth and quality of discussion regarding patents and the
limitations and requirements for roadable aricraft.
I would welcome your feedback regarding my product:

Engine prices? by
Richard Lamb
Well, boys and girls, I may just beat the medical issue after all.
If (when?) that happens, I'll immediately start on a new Tailwind
(I sold my project a while back because it didn't look like this
was ever going to happen). So I'm jumping the gun a little bit, but
it's important to have a goal in...

Horsepower by
Andre
So now I'm thinking...
How do I measure the Horsepower of my Sonerai's 1835cc VW motor?
Or do I just make a couple of assumptions?
Prop 52" dia. 42" pitch motor can turn it 3000rpm static at WOT and a ground
elevation of 5000 feet and temperature of 31 degrees Celsius or 87.8 degrees

AEROBATIC LEGEND DUANE COLE PASSES AWAY by
Fitzair4
A very good aerobatic instructor.
Duane Cole was not a show off-stunt airshow pilot, with engine noise,
but a very good performer, teaching pilots how to keep control
of the plane when doing aerobatics.
I watched him many times since the 1968 EAA Rockford days.
Thank you, Duane Cole for your...

Ever hear of a Rodman nibbler? by
Ed Wischmeyer
My wife saw one of these at AirVenture and thought it would be useful for
her projects. I'd never heard of it, and seemed pricey ($180 for a nibbler
that attaches to your electric drill, plus some spare cutters.)
Anybody got any word on this?
thanks

Does anyone know Jack Wilhelmson's status (EZ Nose Lift)? by
Richard Riley
Jack Wilhelmson's web page at www.eznoselift.com is dead or has some
kind of a server problem. He's not answering his phone (and there
isn't an answering machine)
I'm hoping it's just a server glitch and he's at Sun n Fun. Does
anyone know if his stuff is available, or has he shut down?

Metal fatigue in Lycoming engines limiting its TBO? by

Is anyone aware of statistical or other data that would indicate what
percentage of engines make it well beyond the factory specified TBO,
and how much longer they can be flown safely? I worry about sudden
engine failure due to metal fatigue.
Many of the small Lyc. engines have a TBO of around...
