in 1970 national geographic had a computer issue (forget which month) that showed a flight simulator with graphics that looked pretty advanced for those days. does anyone know what system that was, and if it has been emulated?

l Have an iMac G4/1G "USB 2.0" running Mac OS 10.4.11 and 768 MB of System RAM, and GeForce4 MX Video with 32 MB of Video RAM. I have an "X-Plane 8.60" it Runs OK in low resolution. but real choppy in very high resolution. would more RAM help out. thank you
