SeeYou time offset by Greg Arnold
I just downloaded version 4.31 (Sept 5, 2012 build). It defaults to a -17 hour UTC offset, and the time setting adjustment (Tools/Options/General/UTC Offset) does not work. Anyone else having this problem?

Cross Country Miles by Bill[_22_]
When I prepared my résumé for the FAA "Master Pilot" award, I added up my cross country miles in sailplanes. I have logged 65,107 cross country miles in the fifty years that I have been soaring. I wonder how other cross country enthusiasts are doing. I know that some pilots in California routinely...

Flatbed Towing by K
About to have a sailplane shipped Via Uship from the Northeast to the Rockies. I have two options so far One contractor who uses a flatbed trailer and a few bidders who are just going to tow the sailplane behind a truck. A soaring buddy advised against the flatbed due to ride concerns. Seems that...

PowerFLARM protocol version 6 by kirk.stant
I'm playing with my PFB (on ground near big airport) and while I'm getting good Mode A/C/S hits out to 5NM, I have yet to get an ADS-B return. Is there some special setting in the FLARMcfg file that's needed to enable ADS-B? Also, in the DataportManual v6.00E, it talks about enabling protocol...

Effect on CG of tail dolly left on in flight by danlj
Exactly what effect on CG is caused by leaving the tail dolly on in flight? I've seen many comments that this will "throw the CG off", risking safe control in a stall. But... I know gliders have successfully flown with the tail dolly in place. But I doubt that there's reason to panic, especially...
