As well as people from Northern Colleges. Poor education is not just a

The most frightening intercom message... by
ArtKramr
It was March 14, 1944. The mission was to the optical plants at Bad Kreuznach.
We were fully loaded with Eight 500 pound bombs. Suddenly the intercom came
alive and our waist (radio) gunner, Bo Taylor choked out....FIRE IN THE BOMB
BAY. FIRE IN THE BOMBAY. FIRE IN THE BOMB BAY.....I still hear his...

Col. Tibbets on the B-26 Marauder by

Tibbets was tagged to "look into the B-26 problem" solve it and teach other
pilots to fly it. His first comment after flying it for the first time was, "
That Marauder is one nasty airplane".

Aircraft growth (question starting with Art Kramer) by
Howard Berkowitz
What reaction do you have to the size of WWII aircraft versus modern
ones, where a "lightweight" fighter such as an F-16 is probably
comparable in size to Willie the Wolf -- and a F-15 the size of a B-17.
Must be a strange sensation -- I'd like to hear your thoughts.

THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS!
Soon Bush will have murdered more people than any man known to man. He
is a beast who, God says, will one day, 42 months after he declares
marshal law, come to his end and no one will help him!

Missile skid turns? by
Jim Doyle
Recently I've been reading about the UK BVRAAM project.
One question really:
Originally it had four mid-fuselage wings for manoeuvrability, now it has
none. This seems a little odd, since it makes sense that the more agile
missile will have a greater number of control surfaces.
Since then I've...

F22 Problems by

According to this week's AvWeek, DoD test & evaluation people listed several
concerns about the F/A-22. The test fleet is getting more and more different
from the production baseline, firecontrol problems and some hardware and
software reliability problems. No mention of flutter.
The same article...
