Golf Cart Tugs by
Ashton
Does anyone have any experience towing their airplane with a golf cart? I'm
thinking about mounting a ball on the front of a golf cart to move my
Bonanza in and out of the hangar.
Many thanks.

On The Subject of Choke-Removal, Continental Engines by

I am completing a top overhaul on a 200 hour "Re-Manufacture" by Chuck
Ney Enterprises.
The former owner had this process done, and the engine was given a
fresh logbook.
If you are wondering about the reliability of such engines, ponder the
possibility of having to replace all the cylinders at...

Hi,
I'm interested to buy a Mooney M20K. But the airfield I use is grass airfield.
Do you think that Grass is ok with a M20K or it's dangerous ?
Thanks a lot.
(I must take a decision in few days ... )

Which plane for 5 small pax? by
Adam Aulick
I have the opposite problem from the usual "four seats doesn't
mean four pax" problem -- I'm looking for an aircraft with typical
four-place load (and price) to carry five small passengers and
minimal baggage. What aircraft are out there on the used market
(including hombuilts!) which can safely,...

remodel & upgrade or buy an upgraded plane? by
Dico Reyers
Hi,
I have a 1967 m20e super 21. It has little for instrumentation and
the radio stack is pretty weak. It certainly isn't near IFR. The
interior is original and the paint is 5/10. It'll cruise at 130kts
2200 rpm and 23"
I'm looking for opinions on whether to upgrade and have a sharp, but
old...

Bad Stories about Plane Purchases by
Jon Kraus
I am looking into purchasing my own plane... I think that I am pretty
aware of the costs (as much as a non-owner can be). I would like to
hear from those of you who have unfortunately have had a bad (expensive
or otherwise)experience with a plane purchase. I will also post for good
experiences. ...

Ballpark budget to buy and own an airplane by
TTA Cherokee Driver
Just taking a swag at what it might cost to buy and own a $40,000 plane
in the Cherokee class, here is what I came up with. Feedback from those
who are wiser appreciated:
Assumption: $40,000 plane bought with a 15-year 7.5% loan with 20% down.
Startup costs:
Down payment: $8,000
Loan fees: ...

Fuel Guages by
Mike Rapoport
I just bought a Helio Courier and the fuel guages (actually one guage with a
four position switch) don't work very well. Since different tanks seem to
work differently I assume that the problem is in the sender or the wiring.
Where should I start? does anybody know what the resistance range...

Water/Avgas/Gasahol/Mogas by

Yes, I know that alcohol left sitting in gasoline will slowly accumulate
water
from condensation and such, and is a variable.
It will probably accumulate quite quickly from the hose the retailer sticks
in the tank to sell water at a high price.

I live in the UK and am considering a trip from the San Diego area to Las

I'm yet to get my hands on the charts, and being low on hours I was
wondering if anyone had any advice on how easy the trip would be to make.

Airplane Parnerships by

What would be some ways to get in touch with someone when looking for a

pilots with current...

I have a problem with my com system.
