In 2004 Russian airlines have purchased 15 used foreign-made aircraft, namely Boeing, and only 4 new Russian-made ones. These figures were disclosed on Thursday, Feb. 10, by the representative of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency and reported by RIA Novosti.... Read more...

Russian KAB500Kr/OD question by Tetsuji Rai
Maybe Flanker or other Russian simulator players can answer to my question: I am playing Falcon4, and flying Su-27. However I don't know how to use Russian precision bombs KAB-500Kr and KAB-500OD. I suspect they shouldn't be simulated well in Falcon4. The former seem to be the same as US...

Saab 340 Yoke by HankPilot2002
I had seen a simulated Saab 340 yoke for sale on a website but I can't remember the URL of the company. If anyone could help with this it would be appreciated. I am getting ready to set up a three monitor simulator and I am looking for the better grades of yokes, throttles, and the like. Any...

Does anyone else on this list run this software? If so have they downloaded the so-called 'Gold' patch? I have had a lot of trouble with this sim since I tried adding this patch. The designer is not really being very helpful right now but there may be expertise here which could explain and...

Saitek stick/throttle....rudder issue by Wayne
Hey, This is a pretty good stick/throttle combination, but it causes a quirky behavior in that the aircraft rudder becomes very unstable on takeoff roll. It slips from side to side, making takeoff a real challange. I'm pretty new with this stick and would appreciate if anyone else having this...

Saitek X-45 question by wan2fly99
Tried the throttle at a computer store. I fiound the movement of the throttle to be extremely stiff. Had to hold down the unit to move it. Is there somewhere where you can loosen the tension on it? How do you like them?

Saitek X45 Joystick and Throttle by Dave Schwartz
Hi. Does anyone have the Saitek X45 Joystick and Throttle combination. Got it at Best Buy recently. Are you happy with it. Can you suggest assignments for it's numerous buttons and controls? Should I keep it or return it? -- Dave Schwartz Commack, NY

5 Attachment(s) Scaled Flight Simulators by princetonprep17
Hey all. I am new to this forum so please forgive me if this is being posted in the wrong section. Many years ago my uncle built a life size flight simulator for me loosely based on the F-86. I had wanted to be a fighter pilot and he was an electronics and woodworking expert so he built this for...

Scenery in FS2004 "popping" by Twilson
Is there any setting that will prevent the scenery from just "popping" into view as you fly toward it. It is pretty non-realistic the way this happens.

Scenery Library-FS 2004 by Dave Schwartz
I don't really understand the concept of the scenery library. I haven't added any scenery to the program. Do I just leave it as it is or do I have to change the order if I want to fly over Europe or Africa instead of the US? Also, I can't seem to find the Library any more. Help says go...

Scenery problem by Owleyes
I recently installed Austrian airport scenery into my FS2004 (it had been in my FS2002 files, so I pointed the Addon scenery files to it). Most all of the files are displaying ok, with the eception of most of the 'tree' files. They are displaying as white boxes. I know there is supposed to be a...
