Aircraft Photoguides by
Bob
I came across a photoguide to aircraft in the UK, it's not well advertised
so you may not have seen it. http://www.ukskies.co.uk. It's got hundreds
of aircraft types so it's worth a look.
Does anyone know of any other good sites?

FS9 - force feedback & 2 controllers by
JT
Hi All
I have 2 force feedback controllers: a MS Sidewinder FF wheel and a
Logitech FF Wingman joystick. FS9 detects both of them fine - however it
activates the FF on the wheel only and not on the stick.
Deinstalling the wheel solves this problem - the FF works fine on the
joystick then. The...

It may be being used, but it is not certified for use. I.E you can't log
flight hours in it. As far as I could tell, I couldn't be bothered reading
it all. There is no point in it...

Comparison of IFR simulators by
Chris Kurz
Being new on the newsgroup, can someone direct me to a FAQ or site where
currently available IFR simulators are reviewed? Couldn't find the
information in any recent thread.
Thanks and sorry for the bother, -- Chris.

Radeon Graphic drivers for laptops by
Blue
I'm looking at two laptops. One for $1000 has a Radeon IGP 320M with 64 MB and the other for 1300 has a Radeon AGP 345 with 64 MB. Probably both borrow memory from RAM.
Does anyone know the relative merits of these graphic drivers for FS2004?
Does non-dedicated memory drag down performance...

So far he has painted about 150 bigbirds - all kinds of liveries from
many airlines and countries, Boeing, MD, Airbus, Fokker in all their

DSB TYphoon by
Alistair Wright
When I select any of the DSB Typhoons it closes down FS2002. I have
reloaded from the original zip file (ex flightsim) but this makes no
difference. Any ideas as to how I fix this please? All the other DSB
planes - Tornado, Tutor, Viking etc are working fine.

In case you want to canyon sail by

I took a Garwood putter boat onto the river in the grand canyon. For those
interested the proper altitude is 2242'. The river is shallow with some sand
bar conditions making for a hazardous and challenging adventure. I figure
someone could have fun with this very large river for several days. I may...

Engine Contrails by
Bernie Samms
Hi
I have obviously downloaded something that has replaced the over 30,000 ft
contrails with a different file which I presume is in the Effects folder. I
have experimented with deletions but I either kill the effect altogether or
have the new "horrible" effect (which I think may be OpenSky but...
