Amazing video of landing sans a wing by
[email protected]
There is an absolutely amazing video at this site:
http://www.chilloutzone.de/files/08102703.html
Some people around here believe it's a hoax. Does anyone know if this
for real.
(If it is, it has to qualify as the save of the decade, if not
century.)

cloth helmet by
Yann D.
Hi
Anyone could help me finding a light cloth helmet for my standard
"clark-like" headset ?
I have made something efficient but ugly with clips from an old mtb
helmet. There are nice leather helmets on the web but often circa $200
which is definitely too much for the thing, and anyway will not...

C-172 by
gt
I own a 1960 Cessna 172 with 2500 hours on the airframe. It is not
rated for aerobatic flight, but the positive and negative G loads that
it is approved for far exceed the normal G forces associated with a
well-executed barrel roll.
Has anyone heard of this maneuver being performed in a 1960 172?

Pitts brake fluid by
Al MacDonald
While recently doing some extended inverted time, practicing rolling out on
headings while still trying to maintain altitude, I noted some brake fluid
had leaked onto the pedals and got rather slippery. I hadn't noticed this
before, as most of my stuff so far has been positive Gs. I'm assuming...

wallyairplanefan
I have an older Pitts S-1 project I an trying to finish. It has
Sparcraft 4 aileron wings. The old plans I have do not show the CG

Pitts Certification by
moby
I have a recently bought Pitts S1-C and I am trying to get its new
airworthiness certificate since the one it had became void at the change of
ownership. The FAA, however, wants a letter stating that the S1-C is an
aerobatic airplane which seems like complete bull to me. I'm wondering where
I could...

Hickory NC Airport Flight Pattern by
HBYardSale
I'm looking at a house that is about 1 mile north of the airport -- right in
the flight path of the north-south runway.
I would like to find out how many planes a day fly in/out of the airport and
typically how many of these use the N-S runway.
Any help or a referral would be greatly appreciated.

Aerobatics in Toronto area? by
pigpen
We have four Pitts S-2B's at CYSH, 25nm southwest of Ottawa,
Ontario. We're more in the airshow business than the flight
training business, but if there's anything we can do to help,
let us know.
