Bob Moore, one RAP friend I've been happy to make, celebrated his 71st
birthday yesterday by - guess? - cycling 71 miles at 9 knots under the
Florida sun :)
Here's to many more years, mate :)

Aerial Photography business for non-pilot by
[email protected]
Hi, flight school washout here... actually, I couldn't get my medical a
few years ago because of kidney stones. I grow enough to make jewelry
so I've given up on the idea :-)
Assuming I make a considerable effort in marketing my services, is it a
realistic idea for me to pay someone to fly me...

Anyone here know Driggs, Idaho (DIJ) by
Bob Chilcoat
I was flying though Driggs, Idaho at 1.5 feet last week in a rental car
(2,500 miles in 11 days -- jeeze a plane would have been nice!) and was
surprised at the very professional airport we passed. Several Biz jets,
lots of big hangars, nice facilities. I was wondering what was in Driggs
that...

In-ear headsets by
Wings
A year or so ago I bought audio headphones from Sony (Fontopia) that
impressed me greatly with their small size and audio quality.
Furthermore, they block out most external sound.
So I got to thinking about whether something like this would be a good
alternative to heavy and uncomfortable headsets...

I've been enjoying the show.

International Flying by
Doogie
May be doing some international flying soon and want to get started on
my homework before doing so. When I was in college a professor showed
us a website that did a good job of informing a pilot on the rules of
flying internationally. It provided info about flight plans,
airspace/airport fees,...

Jeppesen Approach Plate Downloads by

download plates in either format. What is interesting is the fact that one
of the missed app/holding fixes for the local class D has been changed 2x

Flight wrench question by

I've got a flight wrench marked Duz-all, and was hoping someone could tell
me exactly what it was used for. There is a slot on the bottom and what
looks to be a screwdriver on the other end. It's number 696, the first tool
on this page:

Things to do as a private pilot ? by
[email protected]
Since my family is not thrilled by the idea of flying in a small plane,
and I get bored flying solo, I am wondering what other venues there are
for a (VFR) pilot to fly people around. Basically I am looking for
excuses to do scenic flights within a 100 NM radius of San Diego.
