Air liner (air freight) hit by MANPAD by Token
http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/11/22/sprj.irq.main/index.html This story is claiming that a MANPAD hit a courier aircraft today. If the story is correct it was an SA-7, I would think a 7b. Imagine how much better something designed in the last quarter century might do? A few months ago...

Iran to launch missiles to liberate Palestine? by Tom Cooper
Shahab-3s should have been developed with the help of the North Koreans. BTW, as it seems the AFP is not correct on this one: http://www.iribnews.com/Full_en.asp?news_id=183984 Tehran, July 19 - The chief of the UN's Nuclear Watchdog has denied reports that inspectors found enriched uranium in...

Israel Prepares to Strike Iranian Reactor by Tom Cooper
Look Robert, you can dislike, bash, and offend me until the hell freezes. That will not change anything on the fact that any action of this kind against the reactor at Bushehr is not going to stop the Iranian project - which would be the ultimative target of any Israeli military action. I have...

Information Wanted by tom hayes
During my time in Korea in the Australian Army a Marine Corsair F4U Aircraft crash landed at Kimpo Airfield in 1952 or 1953, my memory is not what it used to be. I helped pull the pilot out of the crahed plane and he was still alive at that time although seriously injured. I actually...

Downed Apache? by Tom Putnam
Small thing, but the cockpit windows aren't glass, they're plexiglass. Tom BTW - someone mentioned earlier about "jettisoning" the hatches. The cockpit doors aren't "jettisoned". Det cord runs along the edges of the glass and merely shatters it.
