Shadin flowmeter problems - anyone else sees this? by
Bill Zaleski
I have used a Microflo for 4000 hours now. I have found that unless
you leave power on for about one minute after setting FOB, the gal
remaining, or the fuel used, I can't remember which, will not be

data, but seems to need power...

A Robinson R44 and an R22 crashed at 3:30 Thursday afternoon. The R44
contained a flight instructor and student taking the Robinson safety
course in the 4 place. The R22 had a student making his first

Always fill in the form !!!
It protects you incase in, the rare occasion, that they prosecute you.
If you have filled in the NASA form they can't drag you through court.

The FAA Flight plan 2004-2008 by

I find it interesting one of their bullet points for reducing fatals in GA
is:
"Develop policies, procedures, and approval processes to enable operation of
unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)."
I guess they had to slip the spy planes in there...

Shadin flowmeter problems - anyone else sees this? by
Steve Beaver
Just a guess but EEPROM can be very slow indeed. Depending on the exact part
number, it may not even be possible to change a single location in the chip.
This means that you have to read the entire contents (or a large part) of
the chip, change the value you need to update and then write it all...

-----quote-----
Biff was to fly me in an F-14D Tomcat, a ridiculously powerful $60 million

was worried about getting airsick, so the night before the flight I asked
Biff if there was something I should eat the next...
