Greg Reid
I'm looking for tips on a proven, lightweight, leak-free, and
long-life installation of threaded brass fittings into my composite
fuel tanks. I have the typical fuel finger strainers, fuel sump, and
other threaded hardware to install. The strainer and sump may need to
be removed and reinstalled...

Sport Pilot by
W P Dixon
Hi Gang,
I started my sport pilot training today, had a blast! It was clear and
alittle windy but it made for a nice ride. I got 1.1 hours in a Piper
Warrior. I am just tickled about the whole adventure.

Question for Jim Weir by
Ed Sullivan
A member of my chapter has asked me as tech councilor what
would be needed to assure that the installation of a Garmin 430 in his
RV-8 would be legal in the eyes of the FAA for flying approaches. This
falls a bit out of my area of expertise. Can you help or direct me to
help.

Xantus vtol??? by
R-U-N
A while back the Xantus vtol 4 place kit was looking pretty cool. Now
they seem to have disapeared. Anyone know what happened? Their web
site www.vtol1.com is now a lame place holder site and has been since
around late last year. I couldn't find any info as to what happened
to them.

Newbie Question, really: That first flight by
Cecil Chapman
A question I've always wanted to ask homebuilders is based on how I can see
one could go through the process of building through lots of hard work and
dedication - but how do you get yourself to do that first flight? I would
think a thousand questions would fill one's mind (ex: did I tighten...
