Hi -
Can someone share some personal experiences of flying small airplanes
with a yaw damper? In particular, does the slipping crosswind landing
technique require the yaw damper to be shut off on final? Does it
significantly aid passenger comfort? When installed in a light twin,
does it mask...

Well it's been a week since Charley took out my internet cable line, but I'm
back online today.
The damage that Charley did to the planes across the street at Orlando
Executive is indeed sad to see.
Many of the hangars have also received quite a bit of damage, one even looks
like a bomb went off...

Yesterday American lost a co-pilot, today they lose an airplane door by
Flying the SCARY Skies
Maybe they can combine both this week's events and turn them into a

Operations research is a difficult discipline --- I certainly don't understand
it --- but when it was desperately needed during World War II, the U.S. Dept.
