FSCOF 2d panels gone by
Mongo
I'm using a GeForce FX 5200 video card, and have already installed the 44.67
NVidia drivers, but still have no panels... just a black rectangle.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

MS Flight simulator problem: rudder over reacting by
SilkB
It's been a while since I flew with MS flight simulator and I got back
in the cockpit the other day. I got CH yoke and rudder pedal and
installed FSX.
FSX is great but I have a problem (and in a way I think happened in
older versions of MSFS): when I use the rudder to maintain runway
alignment, it...

G1000 simulator by
[email protected]
I purchased the Raytheon G36 trainer software from Garmin. After
attaching a new Saitek Cyborg Evo and verifying the controls, I gave it
a try. The heading only seems to change when the rudder is activated:
banks leave the heading unchanged. Anyone else have this problem?
Also, even with a heading...

Right File, Wrong Directory? by
scooter
Hi Folks, I just joined the group (naturally with a problem). I know
how to fly but don't know computers at this level of sophistication. I
just bought a new PC and FS2004, but I when I tried some add-ons, I
didn't have a clue as to which file went into which folder. Is there a
source I can go to...

Another Flight Simulator? by

Is there another flightsim on the horizon. Not some little effort.
Every once-in-a-while there's one other than Microsoft's.

Frame Rates by
Jim Kamp
How do improve frame rates for fs2004? I have a 64MB grapchics card.
If I get a 128MB graphics card, would that improve my frame rates and
stop stutters?

Value of rudder for MS Flight Simulator by
Darrell Criswell
How important is the rudder to making Flight Simulator a realistic
experience. I want to use MS FS to assist me in taking flying
lessons. I wonder if the rudder will make the training more realistic
or does it really matter.
Thanks

Help Wanted: Microsoft Flight Simulator Programmer by
[email protected]
I am seeking a part-time programmer to develop FS2004 aircraft and
other custom modifications. Software skills are most essential,
although experience building a full-scale cockpit would be helpful as
well. Work may be done at home, although occasional on-site visits to
Southwestern Pennsylvania...

Adding tail draggers to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 (Citabria, Aeronca) by
Robert A. Bonda
How can I add the Citabria 7ECA and Aeronca Champ taildraggers to the
MS FS2002 program?
A few years ago, I bought microsoft flight simulator 2002 for the
express purpose of learning more about these two tail draggers but my
MSFS2002 only contained the Cessna 172SP Skyhawk, the Cessna C182RG...

Simulator + Motion? by
[email protected]
Has anyone written some sort of program/hack to get position data out of MS
flight simulator that could be used to control a cockpit motion device? It
seems like it wouldn't be too hard to build a two axis positioner if you could
get the pitch and roll data out of the sim program.

OK...To explain my situation:
I'm a newbie to flight sims. Not sure about em. Flying FS2k2 Pro, got it for
Xmas last year, then figured out I needed a joystick. Been slow in getting

New to FS2004 Jumpy stick??? by

I just recently bought FS2004 and I just looked at this group so forgive me
for not knowing if this has been addressed before.
In nearly all the aircraft I fly the joystick seems to be very sensitive.
The plane jumps around quite a bit. I thought of reducing the sensitivity
but was concerned that...
