The Flying Car by
John[_9_]
I've seen a small blurb about another attempt to build a flying car.
You would think that people would learn from history. I have never
really seen the attraction. You end up with something that is neither
a car or a plane. As for me when I do go flying I want to be as far
from cars and...

It's about 2.20 inches in diameter and rotates on the nose strut assy.
It's what the scissors are attach to. It either needs to be bushed or

Going for my Multiengine rating by
Kobra
Flyers,
For absolutely no reason, except that I want it, I have been taking
Multiengine lessons (including Multi-Instrument and Commercial). The flight
school has a Piper Seneca I (PA34-200) circa 1973.
It fly's like a flying Bulldozer on Codeine (sp?). It's a beast...really.
The controls...

nav122 parts OR what can I replace a nav122 with? by
Edward A. Falk
OK, my nav122 has died with a stupid mechanical failure in the
frequency-selection gear. Seriously, WTF was Narco thinking when they
put plastic gears in such an expensive box?
So, question the first: Does anybody make aftermarket replacement
parts, or should I buy a dead unit and canibalize...

Garmin 396 Reception Problems Solved! by
Mike Spera
Well, as many of you can remember, I have posted my saga about
intermittent reception problems with my Garmin GPSMAP 396 from day one.
The Narco Nav/Coms or the splitters that are attached to them appear to
be the culprit (both the MK-12D AND Nav 122). I could always select the
harmonic freqs...

Voltage variation by
Jay Honeck
I still haven't had time to work with my A&P to remove my (newly)
flakey JPI EDM-700 unit. (As you may recall, some of the LED segments
that make up the number display are going in and out.)
Someone here suggested that it might be due to low voltage, possibly
indicating an alternator problem. ...
