Correct adhesive to use to attach tail wheel assembly. by NG[_2_]
I had good luck by just cleaning both surfaces, squeezing out a 1/8" layer of RTV on the rubber block, putting in place carefully, then duct-taping in place with multiple layers as tight as I could get it. I let it set under mild temperatures for several days, then removed tape, trimmed off...

Race timer by Matt Herron Jr.

ASW15 vs ASW19 by Senna Van den Bosch
Hey everyone I would like to have some opinions on buying a first glider between these two. There are a couple of both for sale that I've seen and my budget would be 10-20k euros. Would you say the performance difference justifies the price difference? How would they compare at higher speeds and...

First glider to buy 10-20k euro's by Senna Van den Bosch
Hey everyone, I'm a young pilot aspiring regular 300-400km flights. Currently I have done a few XC flights in an SZD 51-1 Junior at 100-200km already but I'm limited by club members who want to fly as well. I've been looking at a few gliders and read a lot of reviews but still would like some more...

Diana 3 by Pete[_9_]
Sweet! However, it doesn't even look like a Diana; they should have retired the name it and started anew. The fuse looks a Discus or something. Pretty bland in that regard. Function over form I know, but the original Diana cockpit seemed like something out of the future...

The inadvisability of charging LiFePO4 batteries below 32F/0C (akabelow freezing) by son_of_flubber
When researching a step up to LiFePO4, I stumbled across this tidbit at http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_at_high_and_low_temperatures "Many battery users are unaware that consumer-grade lithium-ion batteries cannot be charged below 0°C (32°F). Although the pack appears to be...
