"W" is JFK's son and Bush revenge killed Kennedy in 1963 by
Ross C. Bubba Nicholson
JFK gave Barbara Pierce a lesson in life in the summer of 1944 (making
her a "Cape Cod heiress"), and to her eventual husband, JFK gave a
personal motive for revenge. Perhaps if George and Barb had announced
their earlier engagement or even if George had given Barb a diamond

Cool Oil Temperatures by
Ross and Paula Richardson
I own a '65 Cessna Skyhawk with a Lycoming O-360-A1A turning a constant
speed prop. I recently read an article in the Cessna Pilot's Association
on too high of oil temperatures, but that is not my case. I have been in
contact with them and they also suggest I get the wisdom of the NG. The
oil...

Cessna 172 fuel selector by
Ross
I am in the throws of my annual on the aircraft. This year I have
several things needing fixing and one is the leaky fuel selector. Well,
let me tell you that is no easy job. I had to take a lot of the plane
apart to get to it. What was Cessna thinking when they designed the
placement of the...

Try rec.aviation.marketplace. And your item is up for auction, not for sale.

Selling Aircraft by
Ross
Not sure who is here anymore, but I have been a poster over the years
and learned many things here and also saw some very sad personalities
appear in what would have been good discussions. However, I digress.
Just letting the community know that I have sold my nice IFR Skyhawk
after 12 years of...

Owning in retirement by
Ross
I am getting close to this event. I was wondering how those that have
already retired keep an airplane. I am fortunate that I have a
moderately priced hangar, reasonable (this is relative) fuel for my
area, and perform owner assisted annuals. But, I am concerned on keeping
the flying going and...

Ameri-King by
Ross
Has anyone done much business with Ameri-King? I purchased a brand new
ELT from them (via Aircraft Spruce) last week and it came in with a
defective ARM/OFF/ON switch. It would not stay in the ARM position. I
overnighted it to Ameri-King for repair/replacement. I just got off the
phone and they...

King Silver Crown lens by

Has anyone found a reasonably priced source for lenses
for the King Silver Crown series of radios? In particular,
I'm looking for lenes for a KX 155 NavCom and a KNS 80
RNAV unit. Chieft Aircraft has these listed, but they are
way over the top cost wise, even for airplane parts.
KX 155 lens is...

Exhaust system on Cessna 172 by

Just got the word from the A&P that the exhaust system
on my 1976 M model 172 needs overhauling because of
cracks and leaks. I'm compemplating replacing it with a
Power Flow Systems tuned exhaust rather than having
the stock OEM system overhauled.
The A&P is guessing the overhaul cost will be...

Landing light options by
Ronnie
My 1976 Cessna 172M uses a PAR 46 size GE4537 lamp for
the landing light (12V, 100W). It is mounted in the lower cowling
under the prop and does not last very long. I suppose the vibration
of the engine kills the life of the bulb. I sure wished Cessna had designed
this landing light installation...
