Glider weighing scales. by
Terence Beasley
Can anyone recommend scales suitable for weighing gliders? A few years ago
there was an article in 'Soaring' by someone who had made an electronic
scale and he was trying to market them. I can't find the article and the
web-site I bookmarked is now defunct. Does anyone have a location for...

Hobbs Day 2 7-05-04 by
TomnKeyLargo
I think we have about 25 or so in both the Standard and 15 Meter Classes. Well,
we had 12 landouts coming out of Big Springs, I think 7 were at the Maybe
Ranch. Everyone is accounted for , thats good news. I saw 3 that made it around
in Standard, speed of about 58 mph. The Standards and 15 Meters...

Cambridge 302/Cambridge 3UTIQ255 utility/ WinPilot/iPAQ 4155 by
Nathan Whelchel
Is anyone running this exact combination of components?
Here's the scenario:
I upgraded my palmtop to an iPAQ 4155 running PPC 2003 operating system
software. In addition, I loaded the latest Cambridge utility for allowing
the the iPAQ to configure the 302, now called 3UTIQ255.EXE. WinPilot...

New 406 MHz ELT's by
Brian GJ
After Peter Masak's accident at Mifflin, I told the group there that
there were new technology ELT's coming out that would record and
transmit GPS position as well as information on the aircraft owner and
emergency phone number to call.
A Canadian company is about to release their new ELT. It has a...

Looking for broken Garmin by
Larry Goddard
I am looking for a broken Garmin (or a really, really cheap one) for
parts. Doesn't matter which model as long as it has the "standard" 4
pin round Garmin connector on it.
Thanks,
Larry Goddard

Cambridge 302 learning curve cont. by
Tuno
I flew with mine for the first time today, and it communicated fine with
WinPilot Pro, but I had a problem with the speed-to-fly function. No matter
how bad the sink, now matter how slow I flew, it kept telling me to fly
slower.
Also, the vario needle disagreed wildly with my Borgelt B-40. Like...

Slightly off topic - Video Edit Software? by
Mark Zivley
I promised Bill Daniels that I'd burn him a DVD of some of my winch
videos and the result is pretty horrible quality which is a result of
two things. A. I'm using Pinnacle Studio 8 and it's given me some
problems and I'm more than a bit peeved that in less than 6 months I am
foced to buy Version...
