One Way Hurricanes For Convoy Protection by
WDA
Got a question!
Did Great Britain actually catapult Hurricane fighters from cargo ships to
protect convoys from German Folkwulf bombers? If so, did the Hurricane pilot
then ditch or bail out after the fight? And what percentage of Hurricane
pilots ever made it back, especially on the Murmansk...

P6M Seamaster info? by
Thomas Schoene
Anyone got any reliable sources on the P6M? I've done some web hunting and
found some useful info, but also some glaring errors (Many sites claim it
carried only 4,000 lbs of bombs, and several list an armament of several
twin .50-cal machineguns.)
Specifically, I'm looking for how much fuel the...

Full motion home flight simulator. by
The Enlightenment

this web site which may be of interest to rec.aviation.military. It
looks like a German Kid who's putting together a full motion flight
simulator as a cooperative 'open source project' that is affordable
for a home...

than the typical...

Mike Keown
Lets say you're flying a F-6 Hellcat. You can't
land on board cause your too shot up and your
hydraulics are gone( no landing gear) Your carrier
is in sight they know of your problem and have
dispatched rescue. The sea is moderately calm.
How do you land your aircraft?
