Need ignition module for Mosler VW by
Floatpilot1022
Help! I need an ignition module for a Mosler VW, or one that would
work with it. There's no markings on it and no one knows where they
came from? Thanks, Jon

Flaglor Scooter by
Larry
Any Scooters flying around? I wonder how well it performs. Looks like a
pretty easy plane to build and the VW engine could pretty much stay
"stock" with no need for cowling. Maybe it would be a good bird to down
size to from a faster plane.

Airshow Chairs, Oshkosh, And Other Free Stuff by
RST Engineering
Home from Alaska, we are. Can't afford two multi-AMU trips in a year, so
we're going to have to miss Oshkosh this year. First time in 33 years.
Damn.
At any rate, our "airshow chairs" (fold-ups that collapse into a small
diameter carry bag for airplane transport) are up for grabs. They are...

360 Comm by
Tri-Pacer
Does anyone have an old 360 Comm they'd let go cheap?
I'd like to get a transistorized one that I could run with a 12VDC wall
wart.
My hangar is in a row perpendicular to the runway. I'm about in the center.
That means I stop what I'm doing about every 10 minutes and go to the end of
the row to...

AvMap EKP-IV GPS by
RB
Good evening everyone
I though everyone would be interested in knowing that the AVMap EKP-IV
gps unit now works perfectly with the TruTrak autopilot systems.
I purchased a IV last year at Oshkosh thinking it would work with my
TruTrak but later found out it did not work satisfactorily - too...

WT huh? by
Flyingmonk
Anyone know what the story behind this is? Is this thing an
ultra-ultra light? Is it a RC ultralight? Is it an RC plane?

M.
Hi,
Looking for a STOL project to construct from plans. Was considering the
Preceptor STOL King, but have not received any answers to my enquiries from
the designer. Any other suggestions or references?
TIA

Is this 51% Rule compliant? by
Paul Tomblin
http://www.usjabiru.com/Four%20Seats%20Four%20Weeks.htm
I know that the Glasair "Two Weeks to Taxi" program claims that their
local FSDO has examined their program and given it their blessing. But
after sitting in a Sportsman 2+2 I'm not convinced it's wide enough for me
and my usual flying...

Why is it so hard to find # seats for aircraft??? by
Adam Aulick
Just venting here.
Why is it so hard to find out how many people fit in airplanes?
Visit the Murphy Rebel page
http://murphyair.com/Product_Info/Rebel/Description.htm. I see you
can install a third seat "if your family expands." That's great! Do
they mean that literally (3-pax airplane)...

Aluminum vs Wood vs Hybrid fuselage by
steveukman
I would appreciate the experience of this group in helping with a
design issue. I am looking for a strong, light fuselage that is easy
to fabricate for a 2 seater tandem biplane.
Constraints:
Easy means no complex activities for a newbie like me (i.e. welding
complex structures).
Available tools...

Made in the USA by
Lou
Ok, just spent a week at Oshgosh like quite a few of you and, although
I noticed this before it just hasn't changed much. How many LSA's are
made in the U.S.A.? I don't mean assembled, I mean, manufactured. Is it
really impossible for Americans to design, manufacture, and sell
products at a...

Rotax 582 Tach Problem by
[email protected]
I've got about 200 hours on my Rotax 582 engine and was flying one day
when the tach quit. I bought a new Westach tach and installed it.
When I started the engine the tach seemed to work just fine but then
after a couple of minutes it quit. Thinking that I had a defective new
tach I sent it back...

I just got off the phone with Jay Honeck. The group that had left KIOW this
morning arrived at OSH after several holds and an accident on 9/27. Rumors
are that a Cherokee pilot perished in an air to ground crash. No other
details.
For those that are going to the Rec.Aviation.*.* party...

Epic vs Kestrel by
Kyle Boatright
In today's ANN, one of the stories is about the Kestrel, a 6 place turboprop
which a British company hopes to certify.
Is this essentially the same aircraft as the Epic LT homebuilt, a 6 place
turboprop "kit" which has to be assembled onsite at the kit manufacturers
facility in the kit...
