California, but now I have brought my plane to Chandler's Stellar

(or less :-). Does...

Alternator load distribution in a Baron by
Viperdoc
My 1980 B-55 has uneven load distribution on the two alternators, with the
right side consistently reading around 15% lower than the left.
Is this an indication of a problem with the alternator like a bad diode, or
is this normal operating behavior?

New ear seals by
Chris
I'm just about to put some new ear seals on an old worn out DC 10-20
headset. I'm trying to decide between the David Clark Undercut Gel
seals and the Oregon Aero soft seals.
Anyone have any opinions about either of these products? Oregon Aero
says their seals help reduce the level of noise to such...

replacing plastic panel overlay w/aluminum by
Dave
I want to make my own aluminum overlays to simply replace the plastic
in my Piper Cherokee. I've been told over and over that this is
cosmetic, non-structural and therefore legal without an approved 337.
The only thing is that on the middle and lower strip of instruments
(fuel guages, RPM, etc.)...

Piper Cherokee RFI Capacitor by
Nathan Young
Where is the RFI capacitor typically located in a 1971 Piper Cherokee 180?
On the firewall? In the cabin? Next to the battery?
Here's a link to the Cherokee electrical schematic.

Turn and Bank - RC Allen vs Electrical Gyro Corp by
Kevin Horton
I need to buy a 3 1/8 inch electric turn and bank for the RV-8 I'm
building. Aircraft Spruce sells two, and I'm wondering whether there is
any reason to pick one over the other, other than the small price
difference.
Does any one have opinions on the performance and reliability of the RC
Allen...

Citabria Rolls to the Left by
John Shoemaker
With my feet flat on the floor, ... not touching the rudder pedals, my
Citabria rolls to the left.
I have to hold right stick a bit for an entire trip.
I was told the the wing had to be "bent".
There are adjustments at the base of each strut on both sides of the
fuselage. I'd like to take in a...

KX125 question by
ROBIN FLY
It has been a few weeks since I added glide slope receiver (KN75) and ILS
indicater (KI209A) to my trusted KX125. All was well, and they track ILS just
fine. But when tracking VOR, com transmission would somehow block off nav
signal and both indicators (KI209A & KN125 built-in) would show "off"...

Can't identify aircraft by
Patrick Underwood
Can you help me identify an aircraft? It is a small general aviation
single-engine, two-seat, tri-gear, high-wing monoplane. The most
distinguishing features are that the canopy has a moderate "bubble"
shape, and the wings are swept forward about 5 or 10 degrees. The one
I saw (in Fort Stockton,...

Fiberglass Tip Tanks Question by
Jay Honeck
Got a problem here, and I'm wondering if anyone else has run into it before.
Five years ago (or so) the previous owner of our Cherokee 235 repainted the
fiberglass wingtip tanks.
Apparently he had an automotive body shop do the fiberglass work, and around
the filler necks they used a fiberglass...

2. Over the years Austin land owners have managed to shut down almost all

3. Story on CBS was not about an airport, but an...
