Bonanza Model 35 Landing Gear Question by Eric Ulmer
Anyone know if the later model 35 nose gear can be installed on the earlier model 35 Bonanzas? My B35 nose gear was damaged in a little MX mishap and I'm in need of a new assembly including the casting. The availability of the older style is pretty scarce and I've seen at least one bonanza C35 with...

Window seal by Hankal
Just installed new window seals in my Cessna 172. My AP was also involved to make sure they fit properly. Yesterday while at 5500 my wife (copilot) complained about a draft on her face. We determined it came front the front of the widow. I checked today and found a small gap which would let air...

Cost of flying by Ivan Vegvary
I am new to this newsgroup, and kind of new to flying. (Took lessons exactly 30 years ago = 53 hours). I am on my second lesson. Question. Trying to figure the cost of airplane ownership. Is insurance mandatory (Oregon resident) or is it strictly to insure MY airplane, if I wish. If mandatory...

ARC cessna transponder information wanted by dave
i'm working on a plane and his RT459A transponder is not working properly. I would suspect that it may be cheaper to replace than to fix it. Are all the ARC transponders interchangeable? If not, which ones are/aren't? Are there any replacement transponders that will fit the tray? Thanks Dave

Do ADF need replacing if changing the receiver? by karl gruber
If you install another ADF, like a KR-87, you will need a new antenna. I wouldn't waste money on a 85. Here is a nice one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2446854991&category=26436
